Over the past few weeks, we’ve noticed a concerning rise in players attempting to exchange real-life money for in-game goods, vehicles, properties, or services. While it might seem harmless at first glance, this practice—known as Real Money Trading (RMT)—is harmful to our community in ways that go beyond the surface.
👉 Why is this a problem?
It undermines our in-game economy, making it unfair for honest players who grind and build their businesses the right way.
It exposes players to scams, with no way for us to protect those who hand over real cash unofficially.
It threatens the sustainability of the server, since official purchases keep the lights on, the scripts running, and new features rolling out for everyone.
💡 Important Reminder: The only person authorized to request real-life funds is the Commercial Director of GTAMO. Anyone else asking you for money is acting outside the rules and must be reported immediately.

🚫 Do Not Buy, Do Not Sell
Whether you’re a seller offering in-game perks for cash or a buyer tempted by “shortcuts,” you’re putting your account—and the entire community—at risk.
If someone approaches you with such an offer:
❌ Do not engage.
📸 Take a screenshot.
📩 Report it to staff right away.

⚖️ What Happens if You’re Caught?
To protect the integrity of our community, punishments for RMT are intentionally severe:
1. 75% wealth deduction (cash, bank, and assets).
2. Seizure of all items/services involved in the transaction.
3. Suspension of companies/businesses linked to the trade.
4. Blacklist notice posted publicly to discourage repeat behavior.
These aren’t just punishments—they are safeguards to keep our community fair, balanced, and scam-free.

🙌 Our Commitment to Fair Play
LGSA is committed to maintaining a safe, fair, and balanced community. Real Money Trading (RMT) compromises both the integrity of the in-game economy and the trust between players.
Players are reminded that only the Commercial Director is authorized to handle real-life transactions. Any other request for money is prohibited and should be reported immediately.
Sanctions for violations are strict and consistently enforced to ensure fairness across the community. All members are expected to abide by these rules to preserve the quality and sustainability of the GTAMO experience.
